Student Poster Conference and Competition

Students are permitted to submit more than one poster for the DAIOP Student Poster Conference and Competition. We ask that each submission be accompanied with a copy of this form.

Please indicate the category in which you would like your poster to be judged (choose ONLY ONE for each poster):

Category 1 – Developmental research - Student research that is in progress or in the proposal stage

Category 2 – Completed research - Student research that reports results and/or conclusions

Category 3 – Undergraduate research - Developmental or Completed research conducted by undergraduate students – undergraduate student must be the first author

Category 4 -  Practitioner posters will include poster contributions from I/O Psychology practitioners, consultants and post-grad school researchers. These posters will not be part of the student poster competition/awards.

 

Poster Submission Requirements:

There is no assigned design template. Posters must be no larger than 4’ X 6’ landscape orientation. This can be up to 12 letter sized (8.5" X 11") sheets tacked on to the poster board OR a single 4’ X 6’ landscape oriented poster. Thumb tacks will be provided.

Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists

 

The Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists is seeking new examiners in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology for the Board’s Oral Examination.  Serving as an oral examiner earns the licensed psychologist continuing education credit and provides a valuable service to the citizens of Texas by helping to ensure that new licensees can practice independently.  To learn more about becoming an oral examiner, please contact Brian Creath at the Board office by calling (512-305-7700), faxing (512-305-7701) or by e-mail (brian.creath@tsbep.state.tx.us) and ask for the brochure to recruit new oral examiners.  Thanks for your interest and we hope to hear from you soon!
